Introducing the Target Crime not Wildlife Coalition

We are proud to announce the formation of a brand-new partnership between Swan Lifeline, Naturewatch Foundation, Swan Sanctuary, Swan & Friends Bird Rescue, Greenwich Wildlife Network, Vale Wildlife Hospital and The Hop to Save Rabbits.

Together, we have formed the Target Crime not Wildlife Coalition - a united effort to protect Britain's wild animals from those who use catapults and other weapons to harm wildlife.

You can see a reminder of why this is so important here.

Our focus is on:

• Legislative change - pushing for stronger laws to protect wildlife from cruelty.
• Education - raising awareness in communities and schools about compassion and coexistence.
• Social awareness - highlighting the impact of these cruel acts and encouraging positive change.
• Responsible retailing - encouraging strict age verification and a “wildlife over profit" ethos.
• Holding Police forces and local authorities to account over their actions and responsibilities.

Each organisation in the coalition, whether large or small, already works tirelessly to protect wildlife, and now we are joining forces to make our voices even louder and our impact stronger.

Together, we can help make cruelty to wildlife a thing of the past!
