A Big Thank You to Maidenhead Rotary Club

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the President of Maidenhead Rotary Club, Maria Scavetta, for inviting Swan Lifeline along to their meeting on 15th September 2025.

It was a real pleasure to share a presentation about why swans are so important to our river, as well as some of the challenges they face – sadly, including catapult incidents. The members were wonderfully engaged, asking lots of thoughtful and interesting questions.

We’re also incredibly grateful for their kind £100 donation in support of our chairty, which will go straight towards helping us care for injured and vulnerable swans.
